My name is Charlie Bonner; I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying government and Plan II Honors. For my senior thesis, I will be traveling across the country to interview individuals about their experience with democracy and political discourse. It is my belief that the nation needs thoughtful political conversation to protect the institutions that define our democracy. As such, this project will seek to engage everyday people across the country in political discussions to anecdotally ask, "what is the state of our Democracy?"
